

Golden Girlz NC is a longer term strategy to secure and develop a site for a multigenerational, multi-racial, black feminist intentional community centered on the support of our LGBTQIA+ elders.
Soul Sanctuary encompasses the land based work of Golden Girlz.

Mission
Golden Girlz seeks to cultivate leadership, promote healthy livelihoods, address resource gaps in housing for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ individuals of varied economic means, and encourage structural change towards a resilient and self-sustaining community.
Vision
To create a more equitable, just, and nurturing world where BIPOC and LGBTQ+ people of all income levels can live and thrive in the communities they transform.

We believe all people should have a safe, affordable place to live. We believe access to housing is health. We believe access to working lands and healthy food is a right. We believe in equitable stewardship of homeownership, land, and resources. We believe in partnerships that leverage resources and expand capacity to achieve our vision.
